Escribo desde España, soy miembro de la Red Ciudadana por la Abolición de la Deuda Externa, (RCADE) .La RCADE se formó este invierno al organizar la Consulta Social por la abolición de la deuda externa, el dia 12 de marzo (de la que podeis obtener información en la web www.consultadeuda.org). Se movilizaron más de 20.000 voluntarios de 500 poblaciones españolas y se consigueron más de un millon de votos en tres preguntas por la abolición de la deuda. 1400 colectivos participaron en ella desde la horizontalidad y el asamblearismo. Ahora la Red està extendida por todo el estado español. En el 3er encuentro estatal de la RCADE, decidimos encarar Praga, como segunda campaña de la red, y estamos en ello; tenemos muchas ganas de movilizarnos con las redes internacionales en estos dias de accion global, España, salvo personas muy concretas no estuvo presente en Seattlle y Washington, y queremos corregirlo. Hace una semana encontré esta lista y gracias a vuestra información he encontrado el resto de listas internacionales, con lo que hemos conocido y podremos estar presentes en la reunión previa del 16 al 19 de junio en Praga. Esta semana estamos empezando a crear los equipos de trabajo y creo que la semana que viene crearemos una lista de distribución para organizar Praga 2000 desde España. Os mantendremos informados. English Dear all, I am writing from Spain. I am a member of RCADE (Citizens Network for the Abolition of the External Debt). RCADE was born this winter as we organised the 'Social Consulta for the abolition of the external debt on march 12th (you can have more information at www.consultadeuda.org). More than 20.000 volunteers in 500 different cities mobilised and got more than 1 million votes for three questions for the abolition of the debt. 1400 collectives took part in the consulta process which was based on horizontality and a system of plenaries. Now the network has spread all over the Spanish Sate. At our 3rd Gathering , we decided to focus on Prague, as the target of our second campaign, and that's what we are doing. We are keen on mobilising together with the international networks in these global days of action. People from Spain have generaly not been present in Seattle and Washington (except for a few very concrete people), and we'd like to change that. About a week ago I found this list and thanks to your information also the rest of the international lists, so that we will be able to be present at the meeting in Prague (16-19) of June. This week we are creating a few working groups and I think the coming week we'll create a distribution list to organise Prague 2000 from here. We'll keep you posted. Many greetings,
